Any facility where ninja training takes place can become a gym, anything from a fully purposed specific Ninja Training centre to a parkour/gymnastics centre with bars and creativity can be used to express ninja skills. It is encouraged to improvise and use imagination to express the ninja way, however, gyms wishing host ranking competitions must comply to a set of rules to ensure fairness across all associated gyms and competitions, and keep within the spirit of Ninja activity.
