Following the competition, the full set of results must be sent to The BNLA administration. This must include full name, sex and finishing position for all registered athletes. Results will be compiled and points allocated to all athletes based on their positions, points will be added to their season total. Results and league tables will be published on a regular basis. Non registered athletes are permitted to enter competitions but their points will not be counted in the national ranking. Absolute ranks will be used for league points, for example, if persons A, B, C, D and E finish the competition 1st to 5th respectively but A and D are not registered B, C, and E will still get the points corresponding to 2nd, 3rd, and 5th place respectively. The point is that athletes are competing with the entire pool of competitors not just those that have registered.
